Once Cedarbrook, always Cedarbrook.

Where our grads go

Cedarbrook students are well-prepared for the high school of their choice. Recent grads have gone on to:

  • Waynflete School
  • Cheverus High School
  • Catherine McAuley High School
  • North Yarmouth Academy
  • Lincoln Academy and other boarding options

The High School Transition

By the time your family leaves Cedarbrook, you'll know your child as a student incredibly well — thanks to nine years inside their learning community. Cedarbrook's in-depth conferences, student reports, capstone work, and teacher relationships help you and your student plan a strong transition. High school admissions offices tell us that Cedarbrook 8th graders often stand out — for their writing, their poise in interviews, and their range.

We provide:

  • Alumni connections at every local high school
  • Teacher and advisor letters of recommendation
  • An annual ‘High School Panel’ with Cedarbrook alumni
  • Application coaching for independent and magnet high schools

Voices from Alumni Families

Cedarbrook had a lasting impact on my daughters. They're excited to learn — still — and they were well-prepared for high school in all areas. They advocate for themselves, and they can ask for help if they need it.
David, class of '23
If I were to show the school to a new parent, the only thing I would do is show them the 8th graders. The confidence, the poise, the language, the vocabulary.
Theo, class of '25

Voices from Alumni Students

Cedarbrook prepared me to walk into a room of strangers and feel okay. That sounds small. It's not.
Ariana, class of '23
Cedarbrook got me ready for high school by teaching me to stand up for myself and to stand up for others.
Lena, class of '24
It was really nice having not just teachers but also parents around, because then there'd be new people to engage with.
Nora, class of '23
