Cedarbrook's curriculum draws from established, trusted programs — Bridges math, Science of Reading literacy, FOSS science — while giving teachers the freedom to stretch beyond them. This could mean building a curriculum for a student who needs more challenge, or turning the stairway into a cave diorama. Standards help ensure every student meets goals. The world beyond those standards is where the magic happens.
Cedarbrook students leave 8th grade ready for high schools of all types — public, magnet, independent — known for being curious, creative, and kind.

Students progress through four multi-grade pods, each with its own focus and feel. The pod names follow Cedarbrook's tree — from Seedlings to Canopy — and reflect where students are developmentally, not just academically.
